Laurent JACOTOT
Laurent Jacotot has a Master Degree in Robotics and Electromechanical Actuators. He spent the last 7 years developing automation processes for genomic and functional genomic research. He built robotic wokstations to perform DNA purification, DNA sequencing as well as "finishing" for the Human Genome Project (HGP) at the Center for Genome Research of the Whitehead Institute - Massachusetts Institute of Technology. Laurent Jacotot has developed automated processes and database integration for various laboratory instruments. At the Dana Farber Cancer Institute - Harvard Medical School, with Dr.Marc Vidal, he automated the ORFeome project and programmed robotic platforms for the C.elegans protein interaction mapping project.
